The Chicago Anti-Hunger Federation, founded in 1990, provides resources for  economically disadvantaged Chicagoans.  

  • Healthy Food Distribution is a main source of fresh produce and protein-rich meats for food pantries, emergency shelters and soup kitchens.
  • Oliver’s Kitchen trains people in culinary arts and prepares graduates for a career in the food industry.
  • Project Newtrition educates the food pantry user to provide proper nutrition for their families while overcoming the challenges of limited resources.
  • Westside Providers Network brings together basic human needs providers with the common goal of sharing resources and developing up-to-date referrals for those in need.
